Gameplayĭeus Ex: Human Revolution is a first-person shooter and action role-playing game. However, these implants have made Jensen into a super-soldier with no dependence on Neuropozyne. Adam Jensen is seriously wounded in the attack but survives, as his life is saved with augments from Sarif Industries. On the day Sarif Industries reveals they have invented an augmentation that would eliminate dependence on Neuropozyne, they are attacked by heavily augmented terrorists who massacre the staff. He works as a security manager at an augmentation technology company called Sarif Industries. The player follows the story of Adam Jensen, a SWAT officer (Special Weapons and Tactics a special division of law enforcement in the United States) from Detroit who is removed from duty for refusing to follow a questionable order. Society has grown to divide itself between those that have been augmented and those that have not, causing animosity and violent conflict.
Technological advancements in cybernetics and artificial organs have the potential of radically augmenting the human body, although it requires the use of an expensive immunosuppressive drug called Neuropozyne.
